Computrace Process for filing a claim

If your departmental / institutional Dell notebook was purchased with Computrace and has been stolen you will need to:

  1. File a police report


  2. Fax your police report to:
       UBMicro IT Support Services
       Attn: Bob Reiner, Repair Services Manager

    The following information is needed on your fax cover sheet:
       Your name
       Your department
       Your phone number
       Your email address

  3. When UBMicro files the incident report with Computrace you will receive an email confirmation which will include your theft file #.
