Student Bench Technician

Computer repair Student Bench Technician at the University at Buffalo North Campus. Position Summary The Student Bench Technician is a computer technician who will work with other fulltime staff members and other student technicians providing computer repair services to campus community customers. This includes ensuring that quality service is provided in a timely manner. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for providing quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Skill Requirements Microsoft Windows O/S (primary) Apple O/S Hardware diagnostics and repair Customer Service Experience We are looking for candidates that have computer hardware repair (take apart laptops and desktops) and software installation (Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS) experience. Software programmers need not apply. Physical Requirements Candidate must be able to lift and move personal computer hardware which weighs on an average of 24lbs. Hours Part time hours when attending classes (schedules based on student class schedule, a min of 15 hours per week required). This is a temp position.
