How do I get the Microsoft software?
Faculty/staff media for work at home rights is available at UBMicro. A current faculty/staff ID card is required to receive media.
(If you have an older card without a Person Number, you can get a new card from the UB Card Office in The Commons.)
Installation of the software on computers located on campus is performed by campus IT support staff. Please see your node director or IT support staff
for copies of media for use on campus computers. See the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

What if I lost my Key Codes?
If you lost your Key Code for Windows XP upgrade, call Microsoft at (716) 871-2929.
If you lost your Key Code for Office XP, Front Page, and Publisher, call Microsoft at (716) 871-2919
Where do I get the Microsoft product installation key codes?
If you purchased media for personal use and that media has a keycode printed on it, then you must use that unique keycode for your installation.
If you obtain media that does not have a unique keycode included in the packaging, then a keycode will be provided on your receipt.
If you are unclear as to where your installation keycode is, please ask when picking up your media. We realize this can be confusing and we will
attempt to clarify.
