About the SUNY Partnership Microsoft Campus Agreement
|
Due to initiatives taken by UBMicro in collaboration with the SUNY's Office for Academic Business Services and
with advice and assistance from SUNY Council of CIO's Software Licensing Subcommittee, Microsoft has agreed to
aggregate sales for all SUNY schools under a single Microsoft Campus Agreement held by the University at Buffalo.
Under this agreement, participating SUNY schools are entitled to the same volume pricing as all other SUNY schools, regardless
of campus size. This is an annual license agreement purchased by the institution.

What Does a License Provide
- The Campus Agreement enables you to license software for both institutionally and personally owned computers.
- The Campus Agreement is an annual software license. As such, you have the right to use the software, but your software
must be re-licensed annually. If you terminate your agreement, the software must be uninstalled or you may purchase
the software through a buy-out option.
- The Campus Agreement licensed software does not include technical support. Media & Documentation may be purchased separately.
