Warranty Care by UBMicro – General Guidelines During your warranty period, full service is available at UBMicro on UB's North Campus. If your system is under warranty for both parts and labor, UBMicro will perform necessary hardware repairs at no cost. UBMicro will order any necessary replacement parts, install and test replacement parts, and return defective parts to the manufacturer. If you did not purchase your computer from UBMicro, proof of purchase may be required before we can service your computer under warranty. Manufacturers require proof of purchase for warranty service. If you did not purchase your machine from UBMicro, please bring your sales receipt with you. If your warranty covers parts, but not labor, a fee will apply. Click for details. If your system is not under warranty, UBMicro can make the necessary repairs. A diagnostic fee will apply (parts and labor not included). Click for details. If your system has viruses, spyware or damaged files, which are not covered under manufacturer warranties, UBMicro can make the necessary repairs. Click for details.
